The Actiflo™ Turbo process

• a coagulation basin
• a flocculation basin with a Turbomix™
• a settling tank with optimized hydraulic blades
• a hydrocyclone for recycling the micro-sand.

At the heart of the Actiflo™ Turbo system, Turbomix was designed to enhance flocculation efficiency, thus adding to its advantages:

• High homogeneity of the coagulated water, micro-sand and polymer mix
• Better distribution of dwell times
• Limited energy consumption

Actiflo™ Turbo is also available with a Turbo thickener.

In this configuration, an external thickening basin is added to the basic equipment, allowing the mud from the settling tank to be thickened and partially recycled.

According to the type of water and the MIS* present, the thickened mud can reach up to 2% concentration.

Thickening the mud also reduces the untreated water loss by around 0.3%.
