Aquilair™
Aquilair™, a chemical scrubbling of the air, to transfer the odor gas to aquaeous solution.
Several stages are required according to the quality of the odors to be removed. Neutralising agents (Acid or basic) are added to improve the transfer of different compounds. To eliminate odorous molecules, oxydant is also injected.
Aquilair™ includes from one to four scrubbers, usually installed in tower :
- The first tower, known as the "acid" tower (pH between 2 and 3) is dedicated to remove nitrogen compunds.
- The second and the third towers, operated in basic conditions (pH 9 and pH 11) with the addition of an oxydising reagent, are dedicated to remove sulphure compounds (H2S, Sulphides ...)
- The last tower, where a reducing agent is added, is operated at neutral pH and is used to trap aldehydes and kelones.
