Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies is committed to developing the skills of each and every staff member, and has created a whole battery of tools for its business units: individual evaluation interviews, personal development plans, personnel reviews, etc. provide managers with the opportunity to assess skills and evaluate the potential of every employee, and to offer a relevant and customized professional development plan.

Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies adopt a longterm perspective for the management of human resources - training is therefore regarded as a key investment.

Responsibility for training is shared equally between employees and managers, a relationship where each individual plays an active role in defining, implementing and monitoring the career development and training plans.

All levels benefit from the momentum of our commitment to training:

• programmes specifically dedicated to our "water operator" businesses are designed by our in-house training centre Aquademy, a mobile and responsive structure providing teaching courses throughout the world to support skills development everywhere,
• transversal programmes linked to specific markets are organized by Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies' Competence centres,
• last but not least, each business unit offers annual training sessions to meet the specific needs of local staff.

Aquademy, Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies' internal Training Centre, offers the following programmes among others:

• Business-specific training courses: water treatment techniques, project management, finance, safety... with a total of over 40 courses in its training portfolio.
  
• Internships throughout the world, customized to meet specific needs.

Some 600 employees worldwide receive training every year; nearly one tenth of the total Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies workforce.
