CeraMem® Ceramic Membranes

CeraMem® Membrane Technology

The ROSS™ System - Produced Water Treatment

The ROSS System for produced water

The ROSS System is a robust, modular system with fewer unit operations for produced water treatment

Ideal for De-bottlenecking & Incremental Capacity Expansion

The ROSS™ System from Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies is a simplified, yet robust solution for the treatment of oilfield produced water.

Based on CeraMem® ceramic membrane technology, this system provides removal of oil and silica as well as softening of the water simultaneously in a fully modular process train.

When compared to conventional treatment, the ROSS System is a more effective, reliable, and operator-friendly, treatment process in a significantly smaller footprint.

Superior Performance for UF and MF Membranes

CeraMem ceramic membrane element

Full-size membrane element: 142mm diameter x 864mm length with 10.7m2 membrane area

CeraMem® ceramic membranes are a proprietary technology platform that combines innovative design features and unique materials of construction to provide ceramic membrane modules at costs comparable to polymeric membranes.

This technology is offered by Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies (VWS) that provides superior performance in a variety of industrial applications.

The design, which is a combination of proprietary materials of construction and unique membrane chemistry, allows the utilization of large-diameter ceramic monolith membranes that reduce the overall footprint of installed equipment in harsh operating environments unsuitable for conventional membrane products.

Industrial Strength Ceramic Membranes

Withstands Harsh Operating Conditions in a Compact Footprint

These new ceramic membrane modules can be supplied with a variety of inorganic microfiltration (MF) and ultrafiltration (UF) membranes and effective in traditional industrial applications. Nanofiltration (NF) and pervaporation (PV) membranes are currently under development.

These products are especially suitable for applications for deoiling and silica removal from oilfield produced water as well as many other industrial applications such as industrial wastewater, chemical production, and many others.

About sixty (60) commercial installations have been made and multiple pilot trials conducted with the present advances in the CeraMem technology and an earlier, "first generation" product.
