Coplator™

System description

Design and mode of operation

Corrugated plate aerators are steel or plastic towers, whose key features are corrugated PVC plates suspended in an aeration compartment. The water to be aerated is fed from a collector box above the aeration chamber, passing through a perforated plate that distributes it evenly across the corrugated plates.

The water flows through the corrugated plate pack from top to bottom, entraining air due to its injector action. An intensive oxygen exchange takes place as air and water are thoroughly mixed due to the corrugations, arranged in flow direction, of the PVC plates. Water and air are automatically separated in a collecting chamber below the corrugated plate compartment.
