Water Systems and our sister comapnay OTV, have been awarded a contract to design and build a 24,000 m3/D (cubic meters per day)/ 6.34-MGD (million gallons pr day) desalination facility on the island of Aruba. The desalination plant will treat seawater from beach wells to provide high quality drinking water to the island.

VWS Envig through its Namibian subsidiary Aqua Services & Engineering (ASE) completed a project at the Areva Trekkopje mine development in Namibia, commissioned in 2007. Based on the success of these developments, Areva Resources Namibia has commissioned an additional plant for the mine for April 2010 and this is currently in the construction phase.
