Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies' Swedish subsidiary Krüger Akvapur built a new pre-treatment line based on anaerobic technologies. The project covered : design, equipment supply, supervisory assistance during installation and commissioning.
Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies' offer included the Biopaq™-IC anaerobic reactor, one of the best available anaerobic technologies. Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies Poland and Krüger's experience and knowledge of anaerobic technologies were key factors in Carlsberg's decision to choose Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies.
The Biopaq™ IC anaerobic technology produces biogas for reuse as an energy source in the production facility. Sludge production is minimised and any sludges produced may be sold to other treatment plants requiring this specific type of biological sludge.
The compact installations fit into to the limited space available and meet the client's requirements.
The project management resulted in a short installation time. The plant was commissioned in January 2005, meeting the project's time frame.
