Mechanical sludge thickening

The Gravi-Tek™ employs a single porous belt to separate the liquid from the flocculated feed sludge via gravity, which in turn produces a thickened sludge of up to 10% dry solids.

Gravi-Tek™ significantly reduces sludge volumes in order to give improved onward digestion or dewatering / drying. The overall effect is minimised sludge quantities to give minimal handling and transportation, thereby reducing costs.

Additionally, the unit is compact and fully self-contained for odour control.
