Crown Solutions Provides Tailings Water Neutralization Plant
Treatment of acidified mine waste or tailings is often a necessary prerequisite for revegetation. With a hydrated lime neutralization system, the lime is added in quantities great enough to neutralize the sulfuric acid released by oxidation of the pyritic material in the mine or mill waste.
The customer manages mine site reclamation at this and other sites with strong diligence and accountability. To manage this commitment, the company has its own dedicated engineering & environmental staff to aggressively address its restoration obligations at sites where mining and processing have finished.
Crown Solutions provided the hydrated lime neutralization system to the project as a "fully engineered solution," with Crown responsible for full construction, startup, and commissioning.
