The client wished to reduce the disposal of oily solids. VWS supplied and installed a tri-phasic centrifuge, which separates the oily solid into crude oil for re-processing, water for biological treatment and solids that are injected into the on-site coker.
This solution allows for the recovery of oil while eliminating the need for off-site disposal.
Refinery, Poland
The client needed to replace their old incinerator, which was no longer compliant with legislation, with a new one. VWS provided two complete incineration lines:
