Jean-Michel Herrewyn

Chief Executive Officer of Veolia Water and Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies

Born in 1961, a graduate from École Polytechnique and École Nationale d'Administration, Jean-Michel Herrewyn started his career in 1986 as an engineer in the Avionics division of Thomson CSF. In 1991 he joined the Compagnie Générale de Chauffe (now Dalkia) as Technical Manager, then General Manager of the home automation subsidiary. In 1993 he became Attaché to the Managing Director and in 1996 ran Dalkia's German subsidiary and later subsidiaries in Austria and Switzerland. At the beginning of 2000 he was also appointed General Manager of Veolia Transport's German subsidiary, and also supervised developments in Austria and Switzerland. In 2000 he was appointed Chairman of Valorec, a joint subsidiary of Dalkia and Veolia Environmental Services, created from the outsourcing of energy and waste management by Novartis plants in Basel (Switzerland). In March 2003 he joined Veolia Water as Managing Director of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies. In December 2009 Jean-Michel Herrewyn was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Veolia Water, the Water Division of Veolia Environnement.

Klaus Andersen

Chief Operating Officer of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies Industrial

Klaus Andersen, born in 1962, is a graduate from the University of Aalborg in Denmark.
He joined Krüger A/S, the Danish subsidiary of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, in 1987 as an R&D engineer. During the next 16 years, he held various positions for Krüger in Denmark, the United States and Asia. In 2003, he was appointed Executive Vice-President of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, in charge of business units in the Nordic Countries as well as in the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Portugal.In 2007, he assumed a similar role covering North and South America as well as Australia, and was at the same time appointed CEO of VWS North America.
In 2009, he took on additional responsibilities as head of oil & gas activities worldwide. In December 2009, Klaus Andersen was appointed Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, responsible for global industrial activities and joined Veolia Water Executive Board in February 2010.

Jean de Vauxclairs

Chief Operating Officer of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies Municipal

Jean de Vauxclairs, born in 1966, graduated from Ecole Polytechnique. He started his career in 1988 as a Commercial Engineer at IBM, before holding several management positions within Dalkia (Energy Services) in France. Between 2000 and 2004, he was President of CRYSTAL, subsidiary of Dalkia, leading company in France in Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning activities. From 2004 to 2009, he was Executive Vice President of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, in charge of municipal markets for France, several European countries (Switzerland, Belgium, Ireland, Romania, Slovakia, etc.), Asia, the MiddleEastand Africa, and a memberof the Executive BoardofVeoliaWaterSolutions&Technologies. Since December 2009, Jean de Vauxclairs is Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, responsible for global municipal activities, and joined Veolia Water Executive Board in February 2010.

Geoffroy Carlier

Secretary General of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies and Chief Financial Officer Networks & Technologies of Veolia Water

Geoffroy Carlier, born in 1969, is a graduate of the EDHEC business school in Lille. He joined the Veolia group in 1994 as budget controller with OTV. He spent three years in Egypt from 1996 to 1999, where he was in charge of finance and administration for OTV Egypt, and was later given responsibility for finance and administration in Egypt and Lebanon. On his return to France, he took responsibility for international budget control before being appointed Director of Budget Control for Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies in 2002. From 2004 to 2007, he was also in charge of consolidation and then treasury, and was named Director of Finance in 2007. In 2010, he was appointed Group Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, also in charge of the IT and legal departments, and later the same year became Secretary General of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies and Chief Financial Officer of Networks & Technologies for Veolia Water. With this appointment, Geoffroy Carlier became a member of the Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies Executive Board.

Bertrand Delvolvé

Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies Human Resources Director

Born in 1969, Bertrand Delvolvé is a graduate of Paris II - Panthéon Assas University in Human Resources and Paris IX Dauphine University in Management. He joined Veolia Water in 1993 as Human Resources Project Manager. From 1998 to 2000, he was Deputy Director and then Human Resources Director for Veolia Water's regional entity in Toulouse, France. He returned to Paris in 2001 where he took on the position of Human Resources Manager for Vivendi Universal. In 2003, he was appointed Human Resources Director for GIEAU, the IT subsidiary of Veolia Environnement. In 2007, he joined OTV France, a Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies company, as Human Resources Director and in 2010, he took on a similar role for Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies municipal activities worldwide. In September 2011, he was appointed Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies Human Resources Director, in charge of the group's industrial and municipal activities as well as its support functions. With this appointment, Bertrand Delvolvé became a member of the Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies Executive Board.

Louis Herremans

Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Veolia Water Technical & Synergies Department

Born in 1953, engineer from Travaux Publics de l'Etat, Louis Herremans started his career in 1977 as sub-divisional engineer at Seine-et-Marne DDE. In 1981, he joined Val-de-Marne DDE in the capacity of Head of the subdivision on general studies within the Water and Sanitation division. From 1984 to 1989 he took charge of studies linked to investments by Ile-de-France authorities in terms of sanitation within the Seine-Normandie Water Board. He joined Veolia Water in 1989 as Project Manager within Anjou-Recherche and initiated research activities linked to rainwater. After different positions within Anjou-Recherche, he was managing director from 1998 to 2001. Louis Herremans then moved to the Paris Suburbs Region as Technical Manager, and was appointed Technical Director at Veolia Water in September 2003.
