UVASTER™
Disinfection of drinking water
Uvaster™ has been specially developed for the disinfection of drinking water. Equipped with medium pressure lamps, the system can treat flow rates ranging from 50 to 400 m3/hr.
In France, Uvaster™ is the only UV technology approved by the Ministry of Health for the treatment and supply of drinking water.
Basic Principle
The UV reactor is erected between flanges, either horizontally or vertically. Inside the reactor, UV lamps are mounted in such a way as to optimise hydraulic conditions and lighting efficiency.
The working conditions of each lamp are monitored and registered for maintenance purpose. Lamp replacement can be carried out easily without the need of special tools.
Regular maintenance operations (e.g. lamp cleaning) can be carried out either manually or automatically (optional).
